Riding Counselor & Groom Opportunities
Camp Green Cove is a summer camp for girls in the mountains of Western North Carolina. In addition to other outdoor adventure activities, it has maintained a strong riding program since its beginning in 1945. Our teaching methods are solidly based on the Forward System of Riding as established by Vladimir Littauer. Classes range from complete beginners to strong intermediate riders. Our 35+ school horses reflect the consistency of our program.
We are specifically looking for young women, 18 or older, who have completed their first year of college and would enjoy spending the summer as a riding instructor and cabin counselor, or as a groom. Both positions allow for schooling and/or riding opportunities throughout the summer.
